About Us

Sue was first introduced to Cylinders, Inc. in 1990, where she began as the team’s CPA and financial advisor. She was an integral part of the internal management team, building it from the ground up and seeing it through to the success it is today. In 2020, Sue purchased Cylinders and brought in her trusted team to help carry on the work of the previous owner while ensuring its successful development. Sue now runs the show, overseeing the entire company while focusing on the business development side, assessing new markets.

Kyle Lewis leverages his degree in Economics and Business Entrepreneurship from Indiana University for his role as Cylinders, Inc.’s Director of Business Development.

With his extensive experience in sales and procurement for a truck body manufacturer, as well as his history in broker and freight logistics, Kyle is well-versed in financial management. On top of managing the floor and designing truck routes, he also works hand in hand with customers, providing quotes and creating plans to meet each and every client’s needs.

An avid and life-long hockey player, Kyle devotes his weekends to his favorite sport and spending time with friends and family.

Marissa is Cylinders, Inc.’s trusted Office Manager, responsible for a myriad of administrative functions, and an integral member of the team.

After receiving an Associate Degree in Chemistry from Joliet Junior College, Marissa went on to achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Health Science with pre-med emphasis from North Central College.

Eager to build up her practical skills before continuing her education, Marissa tackles a number of responsibilities in the office, from invoicing customers and paying bills to customer communication and other organizational and managerial tasks.

Outside of work, Marissa spends her time hanging out with her adorable cat Eevee, hiking, camping, line dancing, and cooking.

Rafal, our Shop Manager, brings nearly three decades of unwavering dedication to Cylinders, Inc. His exceptional machining skills and leadership have been instrumental in our company's growth. While his role as Shop Manager enhances his ability to mentor our staff and maintain our industry-leading craftsmanship, Rafal remains hands-on, continuing to work with lathes and welders. His expertise ensures that Cylinders, Inc. remains at the forefront of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder repairs in Chicago.

Outside of work, Rafal enjoys quality time with his family and indulges his passion for motorcycling, often exploring some of the country's most scenic routes. Rafal's commitment to excellence, both in and out of the shop, exemplifies the values that have defined Cylinders, Inc. since 1991.

Over 23 years, Marek has been a crucial member of the Cylinders, Inc. family, handling repair and replacement of the hydraulics. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife and 3 children.

A technician with Cylinders, Inc. for over 8 years, Drew works on cylinder hydraulics during the week, but enjoys hanging out with his wife and two kids and playing music on his guitar and drums on the weekends.

For over 10 years, Mike has been a dedicated member of the Cylinders, Inc. team, disassembling and reassembling hydraulics for repair and replacements. He also likes to go go-karting and fishing, and fills the rest of his time with friends and family.

A relatively newer member of the team, Nick has been a machinist with Cylinders, Inc. for almost 2 years. On the weekends, he enjoys working out, boxing, and spending time with his family.
